Offered is a very rare sterling silver short coffee pot, made by George Shiebler of New York, circa 1880s. Made in the highly sought after Aesthetic movement design. The pot is of leaf form with a winding handle and lid finial, accented by a spider and a bug on the body. Looks like it was once all gold-washed. Bone insulators. Great quality. No monograms or inscriptions. Hallmarked underneath. Piece measures 3.75\" tall x 7.5\" long handle to spout x 5\" widest. Good quality gauge silver, weighing 430 grams.
