From:Wolf Run

To: Cap Hill a.a.g.

My patrol from this place towards Dumfries has just come in and reports to me thatthey stopped at a house on the road leading to Brentsville and the woman informed them that 5 o’clock this morning some cavalrywearing our uniform passed them and two stopped andinquired the road to Brentsville

She did not know or see how many there was and she said she did not know their character only they had on our uniforms
