Sterling silver hot water kettle on stand. (I also have for sale: coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl. Same pattern, but of course each piece is decorated with different flowers, as a multi-motif pattern. All pieces are marked with same pattern number: 130A. Please let me know if you are interested).
Reed & Barton Silver Company, Massachusetts, circa late 19th century. Famous LES SIX FLEURS multi-motif pattern. Hand chased repousse decoration. Hot water kettle on stand is a center piece of the tea set, so all 6 flowers used in this pattern are present... just stunning! Superb quality.About 14 5/8 in. (37.2 cm) tall.Total weight is about 70 troy oz. (1241 gr) - feels very heavy for the size.
Excellent original antique condition with minor normal indication of age. Few very minor normal dings. No repairs. Original hand chased burner.
