Art glass block women\'s bust titled \"Cyrenes Necklace\" by noted Texas listed artist Robert Willson during his time in Italy. Signed \"Robert Willson Italia\" Measures approx. 17 inches wide, 8 inches high weighs just under 20 pounds. Does have some condition issues. Several checks on base and one of the glass necklace beads were knocked off leaving a divot on the right arm. Still a very nice example of his work. These larger blocks are ones of a kind usually taking two glass artisans to make these complicated works of art. On the scarce occasion they do come up for sale, the bring between 3000 to 6000 or more. This is a wonderful example the came out of the Grover collection.
