Rock Island Railroad CRI&P Diagrams Blueprints 63 Page Diesel Train Book 1930s-50s. This booklet is from the estate of a man who was a conductor and assistant superintendent on the Chicago Rock Island & Pacific Railroad during the 1940\'s and 50\'s. Includes equipment diagrams from the 1940s and 50\'s; the latest date I have found was 1951. They seem to show revisions to earlier locomotives. The book has 63 pages, not including the covers, so you have 63 different specs. Specs are for diesel freight locomotives, diesel road switchers, suburban locomotives, branch line diesel locomotives, rocket locomotives, diesel pass locomotives, motor cars, & oil electric locomotives. The book covers are in bad shape, but for the most part other than 2 pages that are torn out, small tears and folds most of the diagrams are good and readable. They also have some fading. The format of this book is 10.25\" x 5.5\", with some that fold out to 16\". This is a wealth of information down to manufacturers, dates of manufacture, order numbers, road numbers, all the technical information, including capacities, tractive power and much more.
