Wharf’s “ by Rockport Massachusetts/Vermont artist “ Mary Bryan “. The first group
of pictures depicts two large fishing boats tied to the wharfs on both sides with buildings
along the shore in the near distance. The skyline is filled with puffy white clouds. The
sight seen of the watercolor is about 4 5/8” x 6 1/2” and comes housed in its original
wood frame that measures 10 1/2” x 12 1/2” and has new double mats and a glass front.
Piece is signed in the lower l.h. corner “ Mary Bryan “. Attached to the back is some bio
information including a picture of Mary and Alden (her famous husband artist). The
second group of pictures depicts a long wharf that extends out into the bay with a fish
shack at the end of the pier with several boats around the wharf area. Along the back
shore are several boat houses. The sight seen of this watercolor is about 4 3/4” x 6 1/2”
and comes housed in a identical wood frame as the first painting measuring 10 1/2” x
12 1/2” with the same double mat and glass front. This piece is also signed in the l.h.
corner “ Mary Bryan “. Attached to the back of this second painting is a nice bio aboutthe artist. Both paintings display strong bright colors with no foxing spots, stains or fading.
Each frame does have some minor wear and tear along the edges.This is a rare collectable
