Three little prayer/devotional books (for first communion or catechism instruction?) from the 1920\'s through 1950\'s and some incidental paper ephemera from the 1950\'s. Roman Catholic, English language.
Two books are covered in a plastic material, the black book is leather or imitation leather.The book with the Madonna and child is damaged with loose pages-dated 1922 (all pages seem to be there). The black book is also from the 20\'s. the book with the woman or girl crossing her arms is from the late 1940\'s -1950.
I thought the covers, with the crosses inside might be of use to someone who re-purposes older books and/or religious items.
Each Book Measures about 2.5 x 4 inches.
I cannot find anything else like these, although they must have been very common.
