This old quilt is loaded with color!!

Vintage old quilt with a Royal Blue background! The pattern is \"Wagon Wheel\". Dates from the 1930-40s. Wonderful old feedsack prints and other period cottons. Cute novelty prints! Large colorful wheel blocks. Blocks measure 15.5\" x 15.5\". Wheels measure 14.5\" x 14.5\". All cottons. Backing is a grey print. Border on 2 sides is made of wide blocks and on the other 2 sides of smaller blocks of fabric. It\'s a neat look!

Machine pieced and hand quilted. Quilting is done with a white thread on the blue fabric. Nice contrast! Quilted at 5spi. Batting feels like a thin blanket or flannel sheet. Perfect for display!

Measures 62\" x 80\".

Condition isfine. I have not cleaned or treated this quilt.The fabrics show very little wear. The fabrics are sturdy and strong. I see no holes or fraying. No fraying on the binding. No repairs.There is a slight color difference on some of the blue pieces~different dye lots. There is really nothing wrong with the quilt~not the best made but charming nonetheless! Has a slight cigarette odor from the last owner~a good airing can fix that! No dry rot or mildew.
