For sale is the SUMMER STORY issue of the Brambly Hedge Savings Book series. Pictured on the front of the bank are Poppy Eyebright and Dusty Dogwood, two engaging little mice celebrating their marriage.Manufactured by Royal Doulton in 1989 and designed by Jill Barklem, the author and illustrator of the four seasons book series about the lives of the mice at Brambly Hedge. The porcelain bank measures 5” high and 3 ¼” at the widest point and is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.The bank portrays an open page book and the original stopper is intact.Very charming and only available on the secondary market.
