One of 3 different colored Poppy plates made by Royal Doulton, this is the red Poppy version and has stronger colors than most. At the widest point (from tip to tip) it measures 9 1/2 inches. The plate is not actually round but instead has a 12 sided edge (a dodecagon) andis in excellent condition with no cracks nor chips; crazing is common with these plates, but this one has no crazing. All the right markings are present on the back.
