Royal Doulton dinner plate from the early series of Dickens Ware showing the very rare character Mr.Dodson.There are 31 characters in the Dickens series with 6 of them being very rare & hardly ever seen.Dodson is 1 of these 6.About 24 cms wide it is in good condition except for a very small minor chip on the underneath edge of the plate.(see photo 3) It doesn\'t show from the front & is truly very minor.For the first time in ages there is another plate of Dodson on but that is for sale for $750.Marked underneath with the Royal Doulton Dickens Backstamp with # D2973 dating from 1908.Airmail shipping to US $25 UK $30 AUS $20.Payment by Paypal.
