This sale is for a RoyalDoulton figurine called King Charles. It is HN3459. This figure maybe called: \"design standard\", \"colour standard\",\"colour trial\" or \"prototype\". This figure is 17\" tall and painted inred, dark blue, purple and white.

I purchased this figure fromRoyal Doulton when they were disposing of a number of pieces from their Museumreserve room. This figure is from RoyalDoulton\'s Design Studio and made as a design standard for the subsequentproduction run of this prestige figurein 1992 with a very limited edition of 350.Royal Doulton did not sell this piece with the production run but ratherkept it in their Museum reserve room.

This piece is in mintcondition, with NO cracks, NO chips and NO restoration. This piece has been kept in a smoke-free homein a glass display cabinet.

This stunningfigurine was designed byC.Noke and H.Tittensor. This was to mark the 350th Anniversary of thebeginning of the English Civil War.
