RareRoyal DoultonKingsware Witch Vase,hand numbered 6842, andsigned on front Charles Noke. Signature is small, and painted on top of glaze, not beneath it.
This is one of twosimilar Kingsware \"witch\" vases I currently havelisted for sale. Please look closely, as they are complimentary, not the same.Dimensions of this vase are 7.25\" tall x approx. 3.5\" wide - outside to handle to handle, base diameter is 1.75\", and vase mouthdiameter is 1.5\" .
Vase is in excellent condition for an older piece. There are no chips, cracks or noticeable scratches to this vase. There is regular, moderate crazing throughout the vase.
Last two photos included in this listing show 1.a small area of roughness, possiblyagerelated glaze deterioration, or original manufacturer\'s glazing flaw, on the upper side of vase near rim. 2. what appears to be tiny glaze pops, \'flea bites\', or age related glaze deterioration on the rim.
