A very collectable, large Royal Doulton character jug, depicting the Jazz icon Louis Armstrong. The jug is from the Celebrity Collection and is dated 1983. The Royal Doulton number is D.6707. The bottom of the jug also has the following quote - when asked ‘what Jazz was’, Armstrong replied: “Man, if you gotta ask, you’ll never know.” The condition of the jug is near mint. Dimensions: 18 x 16 x 19cm
