Royal Doulton D3872 Salad Plate SetFresh from a Dallas estate, this is a 12 piece salad plate set in the D3872 (Nasturtium/Poppies/Poppy) pattern by Royal Doulton. Each piece has a mark that reads, \"Royal Doulton Made in England D3872.\" These plates are antiques from the turn of the century part of a Seriesware pattern from the Arts and Crafts or Aesthetic Movement.This design is a creamy white china with a thin green ring around a scalloped edge and at the center are large yellow flowers and green ivy. The plates measure 8 1/2\" across. Each piece is inGREAT CONDITION for its age-with NO cracks or fading! Two plates are free of crazing but have some scratches,ten plates have typical crazing with varying staining (light enough to be too difficult to photograph), and one of those has achip on the edge (photo shows chip and sample of crazing).Please view our other listings for additional pieces in this pattern.
