Royal Doulton D3872 Open Tureen and Under PlateFresh from a Dallas estate, this is a tureen and plateset in the D3872 (Nasturtium/Poppies/Poppy) pattern by Royal Doulton. Each piece has a mark that reads, \"Royal Doulton Made in England D3872.\" This serving setis antiquefrom the turn of the century part of a Seriesware pattern from the Arts and Crafts or Aesthetic Movement.This design is a creamy white china with a thin green ring around a scalloped edge and at the center are large yellow flowers and green ivy, and green handles. Thefootedand open tureenmeasures5 1/2\" tall, 3 3/4\" deep inside, and 9 1/2\" across each side. The under plate measures 11\" across tohandles and 9 3/4\" wide. Each piece is inGREAT CONDITION for its age-with NO cracks or fading!There istypical crazing with light stain spots photographed as best as possible.
