Royal Doulton Series Ware \"Red Poppies in the Cornfield\" Plate

\"Poppies in the Cornfield\" (1949 – 1952)

This lovely shaped rack plate has vibrant red poppies against the golden yellow of the corn and distant country farmhouse landscape. The naturalistic details are hand painted and in absolute beautiful condition. The trim is forest green.

This beautiful plate measures 26.5 cms across and is in perfect condition with no chips,cracks, crazing or scratches. The only thing that I can see is some kiln dust on the back (refer photo 10) and some wear of the green edge (referphoto 9).

Backstamped with the Royal Doulton mark and the design number D6312.
