Royal Doulton SHIRE MARE #DA 238 in matte bay. Made 1996-1997 only. Designed by Amanda Hughes Lubeck. Mounted on oval wood base with green felt on the bottom. These sell for 90-100 British Sterling pounds, approximately $140 US dollars. I am starting her sale way below that.

I would consider her close to Breyer Classic size. She is 7\" tall and 7\" long with her base.

Matte bay shire mare has four socks, with painted on shoes with toe clips. She has a blaze with dark shading in her nostrils. Her eyes are tri-colored and glossy. Her mane roll, neck sashand tail bow are green and yellow. Her tail is done up for show as they are in England: she has a long tail bone (docking is illegal there) with the lower end of thetailbone hairsclipped short and a small bun tied up high in the longer hair with a ribbon around it.

She comes complete with her original box and hangtag. I am not the original owner, he/she wrote \"shire mare\" in black marker on the box (visible in photo). I would not hesitate to live show her, but please view photos to determine her condition as everyone\'s opinion of LSQ differs.I have looked her over and found no visible rubs, scrapes or chips.

She was purchased from a collector and put in my china cabinet, then stored in her box in my closet.I just do not have enough closet space to store my collection, nor enough space to display them all!

Horse will arrive double boxed (inside original green Royal Doulton box and then in a priority mail box), well packed in bubble wrap, newspaper and styrofoam packing peanuts too.
