DESCRIPTION: This sale is for 6 flat cup and saucer sets (a lot of 12 pieces) in the exquisite Royal Doulton \"Tennyson\" pattern. These cups are the accent pieces to the main Tennyson pattern, per online research. The gold is beautiful and the maroon and gold marble textured centers are so elegant. See photos for the maker’s mark and please check photos carefully as they add to the description. The camera adds shadows and tones that are not part of the items. Questions are always welcomed before offerding. The plate stand is not part of this sale.

CONDITION: Each piece is in excellent pre-owned condition - no chips, cracks, or crazing, and no perceivable utensil marks, but some of these, at least, have been used. Most of our items are estate finds and are in good to excellent used condition. Vintage, pre-owned items will not usually be in mint condition, but may show signs of age, use, or wear from being pre-owned and loved for many years. We try to describe any and all condition issues, but may miss some. A defect not noted does not constitute an item \"not as described.\"

MEASUREMENTS/WEIGHT: Each cup measures about 2 1/2\" high by 3 1/4\" in diameter by 4 1/4\" wide including the handle. The saucers measure 5 3/4\" in diameter and 1/2\" high. All 12 pieces together weigh about 4 1/2 pounds before packaging.
