Terrific Collectable Royal Doulton Double Sided Character Jug - \'The Judge & Thief \'- D6988.
Modelled by Stanley James Taylor, this hand made and hand decorated jug is in wonderful condition.
The Judge, stern faced, is depicted in his traditional robes, with ermine trim,and full wig. The Thief, with a knowing smirk on his face, in also in traditional garb, with his cap and mask, carrying his bag of \'swag\' (illacquired gains) in onehand and his \'jemmy\' (spanner, used to force entry) in the other.
The jug measures 5.5\"/14cms high.
