I believe this piece was made in the early 1960s, but I am not certain. It belonged to my Grandmother who passed away in 1968. There is a barely visible impressed mark \"60.7\" which I believe indicates that the mold for this piece was made in 1960 (again not certain).
It stands approximately 7-1/2\" tall. As you can see in the pictures, it is invery good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This figurine has some crazing, but this is not unexpected on an older piece. (See backstamp) Identified on the bottom as HN 1315 andbears the Royal Doulton trademark. HN 1315 was designed by Leslie Harradine, first issued in 1929 and discontinued in1998.
