You are offerding on a Royal doulton ceramic water filter. It is in beautiful rare piece! I have seen no chips or cracks. The brass nozzle is also made by Royal doulton. I was unable to open and close the nozzle because of calcium build up. But with some cleaning I\'m sure could be fixed to work if wanted to. The jug is18 inches tall by 10
