An absolutely magnificent piece! The colors are all CRYSTAL clear and VERY vibrant. This piece LOOKS hand painted (not really certain) as the clothing on the characters (as well as the trees, dog, etc.) are all outlined in a gold paint.
The designer of this piece (and the entire series) was Walter Nunn, one of Doulton\'s best artists. I\'m also listing two other pieces in this series, so if you have interest, save a few bucks on shipping!
This series was first introduced in 1930 and withdrawn right after WW2
The vase is 9\" tall and has a diameter of about 6\"
