Featured for sale in this sale is s fine example of the beloved Royal Doulton figurine - \"Daffy Down Dilly\". Nothing welcomes Spring like a flower saleswoman selling daffodils by the basket load. She stands approximately 7 3/4 inches tall. I have featured pictures of both baskets of daffodils so you can see the exceptional condition the leaves and petals are in. Great colors were chosen for this fine hand painted piece. The previous owner meticulously fitted green felt on the unglazed portions of the base to prevent scratches to fine wood surfaces, this felt was put on using a temporary adhesive and can easily be removed without leaving any residue. This Daffy Down Dilly favors very light pastel colors and has exceptional soft facial features. Artist initials that hand painted this piece are \"BH\".Thank you for looking and enjoy the sale.
