American farmers show the country’s past connection to the ground. One sculpture depicts a woman with shawl covering her head. She carries a large bowl with potatoes. The other figure is a shirtless man with a shovel dug firm into the earth. Each piece sits on a simple square pedestal 5.5\" by 5.5\". They are black color .. Dating to c. 1950, they are a part of the famous Royal Haeger line of Haeger Potteries. Designed by artist Hickman, the sculptures are called “Harvest”. These working class images are proud manifestations of the American spirit.

Measure approx. 17\" tall

Excellent condition; no chips, cracks, or crazing . There is one minor nick on the bottom on the man , is does not show unless you turn it upside down .
