DESCRIPTION:
Superblittle trio of the finest bone china by Royal Standard (Chapmans of Longton) datingaround 1916-1930. This pattern is really stunning and features a beautiful golden yellowrose unfurling. The design is somewhat baroque and what I really like is that itis off centre. Pretty leaves have crept into the cup itself, so very charming. Often the designs are very balanced but this gorgeous setchallenges the typical styles of the day. The colours are rich and vibrant,gold edging is in excellent shape. The English Rose pattern is very popular withthe red version seen often, this yellow version is highly sought after. Reallyexquisite set. No chips, cracks or crazing. Perfection.
