Russian/Polish Silver Vodka or Kiddish Cup
This wonderful small Russian vodka or maybe it is a kiddish cup made of silver and decorated with engraving and nielo work. There are three floral designs engraved around the cup. The nielo work is in a striped pattern and a cross hatched pattern.
It stands approximately one and three quarter inches tall and is hallmarked for being made in 1875. It is stamped with the number \"84\" which is the Russian silver standard of the time. It is also stamped with Polish silver hallmarks with a silver standard stamp of \"2\" which stands for .875 silver.
So, this cup was probably made in Russia and then exported or transported to Poland where it was then assayed and hallmarked again.
This is in excellent vintage condition and it is monogrammed, a little polishing would not hurt. Winning buyer does pay shipping costs and PA sales tax if appropriate.
