Russian Sterling Silver Punch Bowl Cups Moscow 13A 84 Artel 875 Antique Large 2A:
$6100.00

Amazing large punch bowl with 12 cups and a ladle. The punch bowl is mounted to the stand by two links that allow for it to swing back and forth. Measures 8 3/8 inches tall and 11 7/8 inches from handle to handle. The ladle measures approximately 10 inches in length and the cups measure 4 3/8 inches long including handle and 2.25 inches in diameter.  A couple of the cups have slight bending to the rim. I have not cleaned any of these pieces. I am sure they will clean up beautifully. The cups are marked 13A which means the 13th Artel was the silver smith. There is a 2A mark on the bottom of the the punch bowl. The Artels are co-ops that create very high end silver pieces. It is also marked 84. The hallmarks indicate that this was made between 1908-1926 in Moscow. The silver purity is likely 875. The cups weigh 23.3 oz. Unfortunately my scale is too small to weigh the ladle and the punch bowl. I am working on getting more precise weight on these but as a rough estimate- the bowl weighs approximately 3.8 lbs from weighing it on my personal scale. Shipping price includes signature confirmation and insurance for $1200. Please contact me with any questions and take a peek at my other listings. Thank you.

On May-30-16 at 07:53:25 PDT, seller added the following information:

I have been able to more accurately weigh the ladle and bowl: The bowl weighs approximately 64.2 oz and the ladle weighs approximately 5.4 oz. I also want to go in to detail more about hallmarks- The bowl, links and stand are all marked 2A along with 84. The ladle and 11 cups are marked 13A along with 84. One cup is marked Siam Sterling. After looking at this cup more closely once it was brought to my attention that this is an odd mark to be on this cup I believe that it possibly was made later to replace a missing cup. When just looking at it, it looks identical to the other 11 cups but after closer inspection, the engraving seems to look just a little different even though it is the same pattern. The scale of all of the engravings don\'t match exactly to the other 11 cups. I hope this helps clarify some questions that I have been getting. Thank you!
