In the center composition with mouring The Virgin and St. Mary, St. John the Theologian and St. martyr Longinus the Centurion. Center part is surrounded with medallions with half figures of The Vernicle (Holy Face), The Virgin, St. John the Baptist and selected saints in a three-quarter turn to the center: on sides archangels Gabriel and Michael, apostles Peter and Paul, saints prelates metropolitan Alexisand Leontius of Rostov and Saint Sergius of Radonezh. Decorated with enamels. The center part of the icon reproduces a 16th century bone carving.
