1. A pack of 25 PURPLE CONEFLOWER seeds. Purple Coneflower is also known as \"Echinacea\" and is very well known for its ability to fight off infection and prevent them. It is a highly recommend herb for the immune system. It is also a very beautiful plant as you can see by the picture (#1). It is a hardy perennial that will come back every year. You will have more flowers every year...and they attract hummingbirds, butterflies...and goldfinches in the Fall. This perennial is very popular and they\'ve made many different color varieties from this original type. 2nd picture is a goldfinch on my purple coneflower seed heads in the Fall. They love the seeds!

2. A pack of 50 HOLY BASIL seeds, also known as Tulsi.According to Hindu tradition, this plant has great healing power and is overall an amazing medicinal herb. It is even worshipped in the morning and evening. Here are some of the many benefits of Holy Basil. (These are traditional uses and not meant to be claims for cures of any disease):

1. preventative for fevers and the common cold and chewing the leaves relieves cold and flu.

2. usedin many Ayurvedic cough syrups and expectorants and helps for relief with bronchitis and asthma.

3. can be used as a gargle for sore throat.

4.with honey and ginger, it is useful in the treatment of several respiratory disorders,including asthma, flu, cough, bronchitis.

5. has strengthening effect on kidneys, can assist with expelling of kidney stones.

6. has a beneficial effect on the heart and can strengthen a weak heart.

Holy Basil seeds are easy to grow. They are best started indoors in a soil-less seed starting mix and then placed in light as soon as they germinate. Do not leave indoors under artificial light too long or they will become weak. Basil likes warm soil, warm temperatures and lots of sunlight. It is sensitive to cold, so if you\'ve started them in trays, bring them in at night until all danger of frost has passed in the late spring. You can start them outdoors after the temperatures have warmed up considerably and there is no chance of frost. The plant itself is beautiful and you will enjoy having it in your garden or in your medicine wheel.

3. A pack of100EVENING PRIMROSE seeds - this is an amazing plant...it\'s ahardy bienniel plantwith a very beautifulyellow flower in late summer. It\'s native to the United States. All parts of this plant are edible and Native American tribes used it for food and medicinal purposes. The roots were boiled and eaten like potatoes, the young leaves were cooked and served as greens, and the shoots were eaten raw. A poultice was made from the plant and used for bruises and the roots were chewed and rubbed onto the muscles to improve strength. This plant is cultivated world-wide for its well-known GLA oil. The seeds are eaten by many types of birds and the flower draws hummingbirds. You will love this plant. The seeds are small and should be just barely covered and kept moist.

4. A pack of 50 FEVERFEWseeds. Feverfew is a hardy perennial that is most well-known for reducing or eliminating migraine headaches. Some health food companies sell Feverfew capsules. This is a really nice plant with beautiful white daisy-like flowers during the summer...and the foliage has quite a nice fragrance to it. Feverfew is easy to grow from seed and it grows fast.

5. A pack of50 WILD BERGAMOTseeds - This is a gorgeous plant with very showy lilac colored flowers that attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. You will love it. It\'s a hardy perennial that grows 3 to 4 feet high and blooms throughout the summer months. Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa) has an extensive history of medicinal uses discovered by the Native American tribes. The Ojibwe used the leaves to relieve headaches and the relief of colds. They also dried and boiled the plant for its oil that cured bronchial problems. The Blackfoot made the blossoms into a tea for getting rid of stomach pains. The Cherokee warmed up the leaves and used it for headache relief. The Winnebago used Wild Bergamot in their sweat baths for curing colds and the early white settlers used it for colic, nausea, and vomiting. It also has culinary uses which include using the plant for flavoring meat.This is a great plant! It\'s easy to grow from seed...it is best started in a sterile seed starting mix so the water drains well. It can be started indoors in trays or small pots or outdoors after all chance of frost has passed.
