Alfred Munnings is famous for his hunting and racing scenes. He also painted fabulous portraits of the elite on their horses. This painting is somewhat of a departure from his usual subjects, but his powerful style is the same. This drum horse and rider are a colorful and no doubt accurate portrait.

The era of wooden frames is fast fading into obscurity. Cost, of course, is the reason. At one time, synthetic frames were not attractive or sturdy. This newest frame is not only sturdy, but is very stylish and especially suited for the Old Masters. It is certainly more cost effective. I may soon, however, have a line of wooden frames. Prices, of course, will be considerably higher.
If you wouldlike a different frame from the one you see here, look at my othersales. I can offer an ornate gold, anornate brown or a black frame. Also, ifyou want all of the pictures you order in the SAME frame, let me know. I will accommodate if I can.
The frame has professional backing with screw-eyes and wire. It has a dust jacket. Overall dimensions are11\"X 13 \".
Remember, pictures do not have to match to be hung together, just complementary to each other. I use these little prints in a variety of ways, usually to complement larger pictures. You can stack 2 (one above the other) next to a larger print for balance. Or you can put them end to end at the bottom of a larger print. I have been known to group four together either in a perfect square or skewed to a diamond. Just so there is balance. I like variety on a wall and mixing larger prints with smaller ones is a dramatic way to do it. Don\'t forget those flower arrangements and bell pulls for variety in your wall blend. I have included pictures of two arrangements for you to consider.
