Of EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY, this CHARMING PIECE is most likely ofGerman origin circa late 1800\'s, and because of the ENDEARING MOTIF wouldappeal to both doll and porcelain collectors alike and would command a presencein any advanced collection!

The figurine measures approximately 4 3/4\" tall including it\'s base, with the sweet little doll measuring 1 3/4\" tall, and is made of HAND PAINTED bisqueand is of extremely FINE QUALITY porcelain similar to the pieces created by theGerman Meissen factory! The figurine is quite FANCY, featuring a beautiful little girl wearing a KATE GREENAWAY type outfit including an elaborately PLUMED HAT and lace trimmed dress, holding her similarly outfitted LITTLE DOLL out in front of her! The base the figurine stands on resembles PAINTED LOGS, and although we see no marks, the colors and detail are simply EXQUISITE, obviously made by a more PRESTIGIOUS porcelain firm! Although generally speaking, the figurine is in overall good condition, but we do see where the doll is missing part of her left arm, but this is reflected in the price for such a RARE figurine----perhaps this happened where the little girl tugged too hard trying to pull her dolly up!
