A Pesach (Passover) seder plate with both Hebrew script and helpful English translation.This design was first registered by Ridgways, the Staffordshire manufacturer of the plate, in 1923, according to the British Design Registry number 699856. \"Bardiger\" is a retailer mark for Solomon Bardiger\'s china shop at 180 Brick Lane, London. He was a Ukrainian immigrant who came to England in 1890 and traded in a wide variety of goods, but became most well known for his Judaica table wares. It was he who commissioned Ridgways to make the plate He possibly also acted as a wholesaler and exporter of this china as examples seem to turn up all over the globe.
