Offered for sale a small antique Sampson Mordan London hallmarked silver case which would originally held a perfume or smelling salts bottle.
With a full set of hallmarks including date letter for 1881 the case has an approx weight of 26.6 gms height 5.3 cms and base diameter of 2.2 cms.
In good used antique condition but sadly the case no longer has its glass bottle or stopper.The collar below the lid can be removed so it may be possible to replace the bottle if you are able to find one of a suitable size.
Two dints in the lid which has a secure hinge and good closure.
As it is this is still a beautiful decorative piece of silver. Please do take a look at all the photos.
