This is for an unusual old antique Sampson Mordan sterling silver mechanical propelling with a rare slide back mechanism. The nozzle is extended when the wholeouter shaft of the pencilis slid down, once done the lead propels in the usual way when the nozzle is turned. The ribbed shaft is clearly marked with the maker S. Mordan & Coand the cap unscrews to store spare leads.It takes VSsize leads...1.5mm.It is in good condition with just a few little dings to the end near the nozzle onlyand fully working with a smooth action. It measures 104mm (4\") extendedand83mm (3.25\") closed.
