Description Offered is a VINTAGE sterling silver figural \"Sombrero de Charro\", that was made in Mexico by SANBORNS. Nice heavy guage silver. The sombrero has an eagle devouring a snake and standing on a cactus on the crown & features repousee flowers & leaves on the hat\'s brim. Rim is bent up on the sides like a hip \'vaquero\' might wear it.

The sombrero can be used as a pin/ jewelry tray or simply as unique home decoration. It measures about 5\" diameter & weighs about 104 grams. It is signed on the bottom by the maker.
