SET OF 4 RUSSIAN SILVER KNIVES

Classic design silver handled knives I purchased in Hungary. The handles have a nice old silver patina but the blades were all polished and honed sometimein the recent past . I guess they decided it would be better to have a fresh shiny look before someone stopped them & said that in antiques patina is a good thing !!!

The handles have a cartouche on the top of each side . Examined with a magnifying glass it is clear that 1 sidehas a KФ. the other side hasa Russian 84 silver mark and a mark in front that I can\'t figure out with my magnifying glass.

Being sold as purchased. I have not polished any of these. It looks like someone removed the blades, polished & honed them to be quite sharp & then put them back onto the handles. Probably using wax. Some are not as deep as they could be, leaving a little gap between handle and blade. Please examine pics carefully.
