Really cool find here in Washington, D.C. area .
First edition and very first hardback printing of \"AT EASE ~ Stories I tell to friends\" from 1967 by former President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed boldly in thick ink as seen . While the signature has not been verified , therefore could be secretarial so selling it as I purchased \"as is\", It does appear to match the signature style of President Eisenhower from all of examplesI see offered from President Eisenhower on books.. but I am sure its possible that President Eisenhower had secretaries sign his books for him like some of his letters .. or at leastI have been toldhe did...
In any case. I am pricing it quite reasonably.. and its definitely one of the rarer Dwight D. Eisenhower books to locate and the last one he authored before he died in 1969 . Book has an old owners plate on first blank page and internal pages are very clean so overall good to very good shape. Book dust jacket is in overall fair to good condition with the original $6.95 price tag intact.. and will be sent with a new brodart dust cover for added protection.
Would make a great present to the GOP or Eisenhower fan at Christmastime of 2015.
