CASE:

This fantastic solid 9k gold two piece snap back round case is in excellent condition.The case has no dings that I can see anywhere on it. The case back only shows some very light normal wear marks and is inscribed to the original owner. The inside of the case is FULLY hallmarked for solid 9 carat SOLID gold and dates this fabulous LONGINES watch to 1978. It is numbered 14491 and is marked DS&S (David Shackman & Sons who were UK casemakers to all of the major watch house inc Rolex) for the case maker and it is also marked Baume. There is also a 0.375 hall mark and the Assay mark is for London 1978.The case measures 3.4cms or 34mm in diameter excluding the crown.

DIAL:

This absolutely beautiful LONGINES dial is bright white and looks fantastic! This is really a one off dial which has the crisp and clear black painted outer chapter. The dial has gold baton applied numerals with black inserts. The gold hands are also in good condition with black inserts too. The dial is beautifully signed with the wording \'Longines\' and it has the applied Longines gold trade mark below the wording. The bottom of the dial has the wording \'Automatic\' in black lettering The crystal is in EXCELLENT condition showing no wear that I can see.This is an absolutely beautiful looker!!!

MOVEMENT:

This beautiful and rare watch is powered by THE LEGENDARY 25 jewel CAL L633.1 chronometer grade automatic FULLY SIGNED Longines movement with micrometric adjustment. The movement is in MINTY condition. This movement has been SERVICED by my watch maker at considerable cost. The movement winds and sets beautifully and keeps good time as tested over a 24 hour period. The golden crown is FULLY LONGINES signed and shows only extremely light wear.

BAND:

This is athe ORIGINAL SOLID 9 CARAT GOLD FULLY SIGNED integrated band for this watch. The band is in excellent condition and has a fold over ladder clasp with 3 small adjustments. The clasp has the Longines insignia on its top. The watch and band measure 9 inches in total length. This band could be shortened if necessary but only by a competant jeweller.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL AND EXTREMELY RARE SOLID GOLD LONGINES AUTO CHRONOMETER WRISTWATCH IN ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT CONDITION.
