Based on a Victorian design, this charming and amusingsolid silverjug is fullyhallmarkedBirmingham 2000. Please see pictures.The makers mark is E&J. They are listed in workmanship is very fine; the feathers on the head are beautifully cast and the bird has gorgeous twinkly blue glass eyes. The glass \'jug\' is dark \'Bristol\' blue and has a very pretty clear glass handle. It stands on two solid silver feet.
