This solid sterling silver antique belt buckle is from the renowned firm of Walker & Hall, and was assayed in Chester in 1906.
The oblong frame is decorated in a stylised tendril pattern.
The buckle is solidly constructed and in excellent antique condition.
The hallmarks on the frame and the bar for attachment of the belt are clear and bright.
The hallmarks on one of the prongs is rubbed.
The \"axle\" around which the bar and prongs swivel works perfectly.
While the rubbed marks on the prong are evidence of many years of use, the excellent overall condition of the buckle bears witness to a well cared for and no doubt much loved accessory.Dimensions
