Offered for sale is an exceptional Navajo Squash Blossom necklace. It has a length of 26\" not including the Naja pendant which is 3\"x 3 3/8\". The squash blossoms are graduated in size from 1 3/8\" to 1 3/4\", each set with hand carved, outstanding turquoise, possibly Royston. The bench beads are approximately 8mm, handmade strung on sterling foxtail with a handmade hook and ring clasp. This beautiful sterling necklace has a substantial weight of 199 grams, or 6.39 oz. It is signed only with a hand engraved number 476488881, otherwise unsigned which is not unusual in pre 1960 pieces. It has a warm patina and is in fabulous condition.
