This was made within the last 20 to 30 years...and it is done in a Victorian style.

The scissors case and chain is all Sterling Silver, and features a repousse design. This was made to hang from a chatelaine. The hang ring is stamped \"925\", and the inside of the scissors case is also stamped \"REO 925\".

The scissors themselves are made from another type of silver tone metal (not sterling, but made of a stronger metal to cut properly).

CONDITION: Good pre-owned condition with minimal wear and tarnish. There is a bit of minor wear to the sterling at the top of the scissors case. The scissors fit nicely into the case with a slight angle (see last 2 photos)....they are also in excellent functioning condition. This set would look lovely on a chatelaine.Please see photos, as these are part of the description.

MEASUREMENTS: The case and chain together are 5.1\" long when hanging. The scissors case itself is 2.75\" long x 1.6\" wide x 0.7\" thick. The scissors are 3.6\" long.
