In 1841 a watch maker he lived with hiswife Elizabeth and their three children 7-14 years as lodgers of Janer Macrae at the unlikelynamed Maggots in Inverness. He was a watch and clock cleaner (transcribed onto the website in dialect as a \"Match and Clack cleaner:) alone as alonger at 48 Upper Kessock Street.
