Here is another all original, absolutely amazing, early, closed mouth size 6 Premier Portrait Jumeau in near mint condition with a gorgeous face, huge, wrap around, almond shaped bulgy brown paperweight eyes, original cork pate over original mohair wig, original coil in the neck and her original straight wrist, eight ball body. She is wearing her stunning, original green silk drop waist dress with huge silk bows in back, original pantaloons, slips, original socks and her original shoes along with a fabulous antique wide brim bonnet. She is absolutely gorgeous and was born in the mid 1800\'s by the Jumeau Factory. This is only the second time I have been lucky enough to gave a Portrait Jumeau this this one is by far the most beautiful of the 2 and I’m told she is much earlier then the other one I had on . She is 13” tall and marked only with the number 6 on her neck. She has beautiful pale smooth, creamy pressed bisque with no chips, cracks or hairlines and her coloring is fantastic. She has huge bulgy wrap around, brown almond shaped paperweight eyes with dark rims with heavy painted upper and lower lashes. The sculpting and detail to her face is amazing and she has a wrongful long fuller face with rosy cheeks. The shading to her closed mouth and full lips is outstanding and she has wonderful pieced ears with no chipping and original cross earrings. She has the original coil in her head so she has never ever been restrung. She has her original cork pate over original mohair wig that is wonderful and thick and full. Her hair is a bit matted and messy with age with wispy bangs that frame her face perfectly. I’m sure her wig could be picked or fixed to make it full looking again but I’ll leave that to you. Her original, early, straight wrist, wood jointed and composition 8 ball Jumeau body is in excellent condition and still retains the original finish. She has a wonderful bigger, elongated with butt and chunky thighs with separate balls at all the joints. Her thick straight wrists are wonderful as are her hands and fingers. She has none of the typical flaking you often find on these body\'s but there is some wear around the joints and a little rubbing on the fingers She is wearing her beautiful, original antique dress in excellent condition. It has long snug sleeve of a deep green silk covered in delicate lace with green silk trim and ruffle around the edges. The hole dress is green silk that has a little weight or fuzziness to it at least that’s what if feels like to me. The lace covers the sleeves, back of her dress and drapes down around the front making it look almost like a jacket. The green color is beautiful color but as you can see it’s frayed in the front. The back under all the lace is just about perfect and it has wide pleats around the drop waist. It’s a little faded in front since that part is not covered in lace but there is not that much fraying on the skirt. There is a huge wide silk sash around the drop waist with a huge matching bow in back Her dress is lined with a stiffer sort of mesh material so with the boxed pleats and the lining her skirt flairs out beautifully around the bottom. There are gorgeous antique faux glass and brass buttons down the front with hooks hidden under the buttons. This dress is absolutely the most stunning dress I have ever had on any French doll even with the shredding. She has her original long pantaloons with lace around the bottom and ties in back that match the original slip with same lace and ties at the waist. Her original socks are excellent and her original Jumeau shoe’s are great. Her shoes still have the extenders and glass buttons at the ankles and original buckles on the toes. There is wear on the shoes esp. on the left front one. I guess you could say the layer of leather flaked off at least that’s what it looks like to me but they are still excellent original shoes. I am not sure if her antique bonnet is original but it’s gorgeous either way It has a wide brim with a wire rim with ruffles and lace all around the edges. It has a couple of layer of smocking around the top making wonderfully full with a big silk bow in front. She is absolutely exquisite and makes the perfect early first series Portrait Jumeau. She is an amazing, early size 6 Portrait Jumeau and a must for any French collection and a sight to behold. This exquisite, early, 13\" straight wrist Size 5 Portrait Jumeau with 8 ball body, original dress with original socks and shoes I’m told should sell upwards of $13,000.00 but my reserve is less so don\'t let her get away.
