This doll is WOW! She truly is as close to perfection as I have ever seen. She is an early antique Simon Halbig 1079 DEP with square cut teeth. Her bisque head is generally excellent with no breaks, cracks, chips, or hairlines. She has creamy pale bisque and exceptional modeling. She has an open red mouth with 4 square cut teeth. Her cheeks are lightly blushed and even with no skips/rubs. She has large blue glass sleep eyes that function perfectly. Her glass eyes are in perfect condition (the stuff that showed up in the photo was just lint and cleaned away easily). They are in the original plaster setting. The right eye just has a tiny spot of missing lid wax near the top. Her eyes are surrounded by lots ofdelicate upper and lower lashes. Her right ear lobe does have a slight factory flaw. The earring hole does not go all the way through. She can still wear an earring in that ear, though. The same earring hole has a little paleness around the edges. There is a very small, fine line of color bleed high on the forehead on the left side. This is NOT damage and is inherent to the doll. She is on her original fully jointed wood and composition body with 100% original finish. This is the NICEST antique fully jointed body I have ever seen. There is not 1 chip to the finish anywhere!! Not even on the ball joints or the hands!! ALL of the red definition lines are easily visible on both feet and hands. Truly remarkable. Her stringing is very good with just a bit of looseness to the arms. Her original clothing was still sewn onto her body. Sadly, her silk dress was badly shattered (it is being offered in another listing for parts or study). But her undergarments were nearly perfect and intact. She has her original chemise, petticoat, half slip, and pantaloons. She has her original stockings (could use cleaning) and original oilcloth shoes with original silk ties! Her antique cotton batiste dress is so beautiful and in excellent condition with lots of pin tucks and inset lace! The dress has new blue ribbon at the waist and sleeve cuffs. Her mohair wig is a new replacement, but she has heroriginal cardboard pate. I also added the very vintage earrings and gorgeous lace and floral headband with silk rosettes on each side. STUNNING doll that I\'m sure will be treasured in her new home! I have lots of other photos if you would like to see them.

Shipping
