Description.

A stunning Indian / Indo-Persian silversnuff or trinket box. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. It dates itto the early to mid 20thcentury. It has been beautifully handmade being decoratedwith an engraved leaf design and polished green stone lid.

Condition.

It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hinge is strong and the lidshuts tight.

It measures 1.75 inches (4.4cms) across by over 1.5 inches (3.9cms) front to back by 1 inch (2.6cms) tall and weighs 58 grams (including the stone). A beautifully made very fine quality unusual piece.
