During our research we have been informed they certainly dates from the mid 19th century.

Date about c1860s.

Underneath a G logo.

We have been informed it certainly originates from one of the Dresden factories of Germany.

Superb quality with:

Around the circumference the three hand decorations of the birds with the gilt surrounding.

Hinged lid with the holes for the odour and scent of pot pourri.

Finial top with the quite superb hand decoration of insects which continue to the base area.

The container is mounted on the three decorative legs with the centrepiece.

Lots of gilt decoration supporting this quite stunning pot pourri container of quality.

Ithas an overall height of about 7inches.
