A stunning sterling silverEdwardian hair slide / grip. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 with themaker’s marks being R&W for Reynolds & Westwood. It has a beautiful Art Nouveau design having two spirallingprongs and finely pierced and engraved terminal incorporating a shamrock design.It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs.I have checked all the pierced work meticulously, as it is prone to damage andhave found it to be perfect. It measures 4.5 inches (11.5cms) long by over 1.25inches (3.5cms) and weighs 10 grams. A beautifully made wearable antique.
