Description A stunninglarge-sized English antiqueearly19th Century Victorian solid sterling silver \"presentation\"tablesnuff box by the silversmith Joseph Willmore - (1797-1844), inexcellent condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1838. Superb quality genuine 180 year old silver box, veryimpressive size, with a hinged silver lid and is decorated with attractive engine-turned engraving. Has protruding/raised border edge rims and has a nice decorative edge lip on the front to assist lid opening. Inside it has its original undamaged fully gilt-lined interior and has a veryheavy silver weight,127 grams.Has a handsome large silver \"shield\" cartouche on the top with no engraved presentation inscriptions.

MeasurementsBeautiful size, (not a small pocket size), measures approx.3.55 inches (89mm)x2.45 inches (61mm)andis0.7 inches (17mm) deep.

Date English antique early 19th Century Victorian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1838, (\"gothic\" date letter \"P\"). Superb clear struck matching hallmarks on box and lid andincludes the sovereigns duty mark of Queen Victoria.
